Our Story
As a parent of children that played various sports and as a coach, Mr. Hardin noticed how some children lacked the opportunities to play or receive quality training. This broke both Mr. and Mrs. Hardin’s heart and they searched for ways to provide support. Mr. and Mrs. Hardin often helped when they could to meet the needs of children playing sports.
In 2022, they decided to do more to help the youth and created Our Legacy, a nonprofit organization created to help bridge the gap between minority children and sports. Our Legacy provides quality sports training, camps, and clinics at reduced prices, quality fitness training and sports recovery at reduced prices, financial assistance for sports fees or equipment, and provide mentoring and financial literacy to the youth.
Our Legacy has also partnered with other organizations to provide hats, gloves, toiletries, and socks to the homeless in our community. Our Legacy mission is to mentor our youth and provide them with opportunities to excel in sports and fitness in a safe environment.
Hosea Hardin
President
Hosea Hardin is a dedicated individual with passion for making an impact in the lives of others. He has served as a football and basketball coach for many years as a way to mentor to our youth. Hosea took the initiative to start Our Legacy, a nonprofit organization that is aimed at building healthier communities through sports, fitness, nutrition, education, and professional development. Hosea has a passion to help people and is committed to providing kids with equal opportunities in sports and in school. Hosea has served on Our Legacy’s board since 2022.

Dr. Lorrie Hardin
Treasure
Dr. Lorrie Hardin has a heart for helping others, especially our youth. She has been by Hosea’s side helping to bridge the gap between his coaching and mentoring and the needs of the youth. Lorrie’s helps with the business side of Our Legacy to bring the mission and vision to life. Lorrie has served on Our Legacy’s board since 2022.
